This 1967 Mustang coupe spent the majority of its life on Vancouver Island, where it underwent a comprehensive restoration to bring it back to its former glory. The car was refinished in a stunning dark blue color, complemented by vinyl racing stripes down the center of the vehicle. Inside, the interior was refreshed, featuring a set of stylish black vinyl seats and painted interior panels that match the exterior.
Under the hood, the Mustang is powered by a 289ci V8 engine paired with a T5 transmission, providing both power and smooth gear shifts. Additional upgrades include 15" 5-spoke alloy wheels, front disk brakes for improved stopping performance, and upgraded power steering, making the driving experience more enjoyable. The car boasts chrome trim, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and upgraded gauges, adding to its classic appeal.
In the spring of 2023, TIB Luxury Motors acquired this exceptional Mustang, and it now comes with a clean BC title. This beautifully restored and upgraded 1967 Mustang Coupe is now offered for sale, making it a desirable choice for classic car enthusiasts who appreciate the timeless charm and performance of this iconic model.
The body originally left the factory finished in a dark green color but was later refinished in its current shade of dark metallic blue. Chrome trim beautifully accents the window surrounds and bumpers, adding to the car's allure. Additional features include 289 Mustang badging, a passenger side mirror, faux quarter panel intakes, and dual exhaust outlets, enhancing its overall appearance.
The car boasts stylish 15" alloy wheels, complemented by 225/60 BF Goodrich tires, adding both flair and performance to its look. Equipped with power steering, the car ensures smooth and effortless maneuvering. Braking is efficiently handled by an upgraded master cylinder with disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear, offering improved stopping power. Additionally, a front sway bar enhances the car's stability and handling.
The front bucket seats and rear bench were reupholstered in black vinyl as part of the refurbishment, and they are beautifully complemented by a color-matched dash and door panels. Bright trim accents adorn the seats, door panels, dashboard, and center console, adding a touch of elegance to the interior. Additional equipment includes a Hurst shifter, enhancing the driving experience with its smooth and precise gear shifts.
The wood-trimmed steering wheel beautifully complements the updated instrument cluster. The five-digit mechanical odometer currently shows 15,000 kms. However, the total kilometers driven in the car's lifetime remain unknown.
The 289ci V8 was rebuilt as part of the refurbishment and is equipped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, MSD ignition, and chrome valve covers. Upgraded equipment includes a new power steering setup and an upgraded dual-bowl brake booster.
